Stay for four days in a spacious 3-bedroom home with its own private staff on the banks of the Luangwa River right across from the South Luangwa National Park. Enjoy a private tour of Conservation South Luangwa and Chipembele Wildlife Education Center, organizations that work tirelessly to educate the local villagers about preserving their own natural resources and prevent poaching. Experience three days in one of The Bushcamp Company’s luxurious bushcamps in a remote area of the park. Choose to fly to Liuwa Plains in western Zambia, a seldom visited park that is home to large wildebeest populations Lions, Cheetah and Hyena (Oct to December) or to the Lower Zambezi, to see large wild animal populations including cape buffalo , a large elephant population, lionleopard, many antelope species, crocodile and hippopotamus.  Activities include drives, walks, canoeing and fishing. (May to December). Finally, you will fly to Livingstone for an unforgettable experience of Victoria Falls, one of the seven wonders of the world.

Day 1

Arrive at Lusaka airport in time for your afternoon flight to Mfuwe in the South Luangwa valley where you will be met by your private guide and taken to a beautiful home with pool on the banks of the Luangwa River.

Day 2

Awake early to go on your first game drive in the iconic South Luangwa National Park with Ed Selfe, an expert naturalist guide who is also a professional photographer. Visit areas of the park that most visitors never get to see. Return to the house for lunch, a relaxing afternoon, then cocktail time at sundown at one of the best private areas to see giraffe and elephants at the river.

Day 3

Early morning drive and lunch then visit the base of Conservation South Luangwa, the organization that provides scouting patrols and detection dogs to deter and catch poachers and protect the wildlife of the South Luangwa.

Day 4 

Today your guide will take you to Chipembele Wildlife Conservation Education Center to hear about the work they do to educate the young people of the valley and tour their amazing learning center.

DAY 5-7  

After a morning drive you will be transferred to Mfuwe Lodge where you will meet your guide for the 2-3 hour drive to one of the luxury bushcamps in the park where you will experience night drives and the armed, guided walking safaris the valley is famous for.

Day 8 (Liuwa Plains)

You will return to Mfuwe Lodge for one night before you fly to Lusaka to catch your charter flight to Liuwa Plains, a remote park in western Zambia few ever see. Known for its migrating herds and large hyena packs you will be accompanied by Matt Becker, head of the Zambia Carnivore Program, for a private tour.

Day 8 -10   Liuwa Plains

Travel via chartered plane to this remote park in the far west of Zambia in pristine wilderness. It is situated on the upper Zambezi floodplains of western Zambia. Home to the second largest wildebeest migration in Africa, seasonal floods have transformed the flat grasslands into a wetland paradise. Species which had been present in large numbers include lechwe, eland, roan antelope, buffalo and Lichtenstein’s hartebeest as well as large packs of hyenas, leopards, zebra and the recently reintroduced lions.

DAY 8 -10   Lower Zambezi

Board your plane for Lower Zambezi.  Where you will see Cape Buffalo, a large elephant population, lionleopard, many antelope species, crocodile and hippopotamus. Occasional sightings of the wild dogs occur throughout this park which is one of Zambia's best strongholds for them.  Fishing and canoeing on the Zambezi River is one of the favorite activities when visiting this area.

DAY 11

After breakfast catch your private flight to Lusaka then on to Livingstone and Victoria Falls, one of the wonders of the world, where you'll stay at one of the luxury hotels near the falls.

DAY 11-13

Experience all that Victoria Falls has to offer. Swim in Devil's Pool at the edge of the falls, raft the great Zambezi, take a helicopter trip over the falls, walk under the falls on the Zimbabwe side or just shop at the great outdoor market in Livingstone during your stay at a world class hotel within walking distance to the falls.
